Ready for Catherine Agnes!

I got my Stitching Bits and Bobs order of Caron Waterlilies today! Now at last I can start my Catherine Agnes on black linen! I can hardly wait to work on THAT one!

Side Tracked

I did not stitch this weekend! Yicks! I bought a new toy and it became the center of my attention the whole weekend. I was shopping at Costco and found a VHS to DVD recorder. I proceeded to transfer my VHS movie tapes to DVD! Now I can get rid of all those tapes that are taking up space (about 200)

Stitching Along...

I have diabetes. My blood sugar has been high lately and it has made me very tired. It is like I'm running on batteries and the batteries are empty. I have been taking extra medication to try to bring it down. It's probably a combination of stress at work and a cold. But...

I have been stitching a little bit each night. Not much but I don't want to quit on myself if I can help it.

Too Tired to Do My Stitchery

I was so tired last night. When I got home, I was watching the news on tv in my easy chair and I fell asleep until 10 pm. So I had a nap before I went to bed. I didn't get to do anything last night! That made me sad as I wanted to get so much done!

Christine: Thank you for your encouragement. I enjoy all I can get!

Gina: I frame and hang my finished projects on my walls. No one can appreciate all the work and love that goes into a project but another stitcher. It reminds me of a hooked persian rug I did one time. My daughter asked me where I was going to lay it. I told her that no one was going to walk on it after all that work and that I was going to hang it on the wall.

Julianna: I will try to post a progress pic soon. Yes, I enjoy this one! When you have so many blends, it adds unusual color dimension to the pattern. If it wasn't blended, the colors would look flat.

Fantasy Triptych

I started my Fantasy Triptych by Teresa Wentzler this week end. The square and half that I stitched called for 18 colors! Each of these were blends! It takes quite a while to cover just a little ground. I have the feeling that I will be stitching on this pattern for a long time. I am not a fast stitcher anyway. I got about as far as Julianna from Cross Stitch Ramblings did. So I guess you could say that it is a SAL. I will post a photo of my little bit and a photo of my Garden progress when I can. I was too tired last night.
